In November of 2011 Via Tribunali joined the fold – a partnership with Seattle’s famous pizzeria. Touted as “more authentic than some pizzas in Naples” by Sunset Magazine, Via Tribunali fires its pizzas in brick ovens made from Vesuvian ash. With its location in a historic building downtown at SW 3rd and Ankeny, the intimate restaurant is our sexy Italian step-sister.

Via Tribunali Portland is located in Old Town, the original urban core of Portland. The neighborhood was designated a National Landmark Historic District in 1978. Since then, Old Town has seen a dramatic revitalization while maintaining its character through preservation of classic architecture.  Old Town’s notorious Shanghai Tunnels still rest beneath the streets, and Portland’s art scene shines in this neighborhood. Nearby attractions include the Saturday Market, Voodoo Doughnut and Ankeny Plaza – site of Portland’s oldest public art work, the Skidmore Fountain.

Our Portland location features an ample bar, light fixtures hand blown by local artist Eric Pauli, cozy booths, a community table and an upstairs mezzanine with a great view of the pizza-slinging action below.
